Peter Gabriel Week: Day 3

OK, it is Day 3 and lets face it, I don't know that much about early Genesis.

Could I use this as an opportunity to learn more?

I mean, I am only doing a theme week because I think it's funny and weird. I certainly don't hate Genesis, but not liking them is part of what makes me a girl. Ladies liking prog? That is ridic! What's next? Listening to Rush for the lyrics? Sorry, but I am not ready to move to Canada yet.

So what am I gonna do? I'm gonna dig around like a badger in a trash can.

I just got a used cross stitch book from 1993. Some of the patterns are immediately usable, like FREEDOM EAGLE

& some are completely, unintentionally, hilarious...

I finished my Burt Reynolds bookmark. I could have sworn I saw a pattern somewhere for this, but I couldn't find one. ANYWHERE ( provided anywhere means a quick google search ). I thought this was AMERICA. There are already Charlie Sheen x-stitch patterns but no naked, hairy Burts.

So I made my own.

Add a santa hat and bam, Christmas present.

I kinda laughed the entire time I was making this, but now it's time to start a new project!

I've never really been into x-stitching that much until I saw that Makoto Oozu book, so I am gonna give it a go. Hobby Lobby has tons of dopey little sets.

So I just got a bunch of embroidery books from Kinokuniya. The best one is by Makoto Oozu. HE IS AWESOME.
